About Our First Response Team
Our First Response Team was created to minimize the loss of life within our community. The team allows community members to have a second chance in a critical medical situation.
Having Medical First Responders trained within our community allows us to respond to emergency calls rapidly to arrive on scene prior to an ambulance to provide life saving interventions until one arrives.
A volunteer first responder is a person with specialized training who is dispatched to 911 calls within the community to attend a scene to provide life saving interventions prior to an ambulance unit arrives.
First responders provide life saving interventions that could mean life or death in a critical situation.
We would like to see applicants with prior background knowledge in the medical field and have First Aid level C or HCP however, we do not turn applications away from individuals who don't meet those requirements!
F.W.F.N First Response Team will provide you with the specialized training techniques that you are required to have to be apart of our team! Simply submit a application today!
