Position Description:

Community Relations Specialists are tasked with attending community events and providing public relation related services to community members. Community Relations Specialists communicate with community members and promote the team’s services, operations and recruitment opportunities. They also create documents, posters and manage the team’s social media accounts.


  • Schedule attendance to events to provide public awareness and information;
  • Attend community events, setup advertisement booths and interact with community members;
  • Discuss team operations, services and recruitment opportunities with community members;
  • Create different community related presentations, documents and possibly programs when tasked;
  • Manage all social media accounts for the First Response Team including Facebook, Instagram and our website;
  • Disperse and handout different documents, images and pamphlets to the community and businesses.


  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older;
  • Applicants must have access to a personal vehicle or means of transportation;
  • Applicants must be willing to attend scheduled community events and complete all position responsibilities;
  • Applicants must have exceptional communication skills and be able to speak with members of the public;
  • Applicants must be able to complete a First Response Team Information Course prior to attending any public events.
